Description

A fluffy and delicious chocolate cake served hot or warm. It has a layer of hot chocolate sauce and creamy chocolate ganache. Easy to make at home.

Prepare the Cake

  1. Mix flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and sugar together in a bowl.
  2. Add eggs, oil, and warm water. Stir well with a whisk until the mixture is smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into the cake pan and bake in the oven for exactly half an hour at 180°C.
  4. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool slightly.

Prepare the Hot Sauce

  1. In a saucepan, heat the milk. Add chocolate cubes, cocoa powder, instant coffee, and sugar. Stir until the mixture boils and the chocolate melts.
  2. Pour the hot sauce over the cake immediately after removing from the oven while it's still warm.

Prepare the Ganache

  1. Heat the heavy cream in a double boiler. Add the chopped chocolate and stir until completely melted. Optionally, add the butter.
  2. Pour the ganache over the cake after it has cooled slightly.
