Beat the eggs, sugar, and vanilla well until the mixture becomes fluffy and light in color.
Heat the milk and butter on the stove until the butter melts.
Add the sifted flour and baking powder to the mixture and mix with a few strokes.
Add the hot milk and butter mixture and mix well.
If you want to make a marble cake, take two to three tablespoons of the cake batter and mix with cocoa powder to create patterns on top of the cake.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 35 minutes on the middle rack.
Remove the cake from the oven, let it cool, then cut and serve.
