Instructions

  1. In a bowl, add chopped pumpkin and sugar. Leave in the fridge for 2 hours.
  2. Transfer to a pan and cook on the stove with wooden sticks on low heat.
  3. Prepare knafeh by chopping in the chopper and add melted ghee while chopping.
  4. In an oven pie tray, add a layer of knafeh and cook in the oven until golden.
  5. In a pan, mix ghee & flour then add some of the syrup resulting from cooking the pumpkin and milk.
  6. When knafeh is ready, add the cooked pumpkin, walnuts or nuts then a layer of the bechamel prepared.
  7. Cook in the oven and enjoy.
