Beef Rokak on the Grill

Instructions

  1. In a pan, add oil and chopped onion and stir until yellow. Add minced beef and season with salt, pepper & nutmeg. Stir until cooked.
  2. Cut rokak into rectangles then soak in hot soup (broth). Prepare a mixture of ghee and oil.
  3. In a rectangular grill (or circular, whichever you have), brush it with the ghee mixture then add 4 layers of rokak (brushing between each layer). Add the filling which is the minced beef then another 4 layers of rokak and brush well.
  4. Leave it on the grill on medium low heat. When it gets colored, flip it and let it cook on the other side.
