Description
An easy and quick recipe for crispy pickled onions that add a wonderful flavor to any dish. Can be served with chicken, meat, salad, or sandwiches.
The process is simple: prepare a solution of vinegar, salt, and sugar, then add cut onions and spices. Leave in the fridge for at least two hours before serving.

Add 1/4 cup vinegar, 2 tablespoons salt, and 2 tablespoons sugar to 1 cup of water.
Heat the mixture on the stove until the ingredients dissolve.
Cut the onions as desired.
Place them in a clean jar with whole black peppercorns, bay leaf. Sprinkle sumac on the onions.
Pour the hot mixture over the onions and close the jar tightly.
Place in the refrigerator for at least two hours before serving.
