Caramel Popcorn
Description
This is a recipe for making crunchy and delicious caramel popcorn. The sugar is cooked with butter until caramelized, then added to popcorn with vanilla.
The mixture is baked in the oven at a low temperature until crispy. Salt can be added to taste.

In a pan, add oil then add the popcorn kernels.
Make the caramel: In a saucepan over low heat, place sugar, butter. Stir constantly until sugar dissolves and turns amber in color.
Turn off the heat, add a pinch of baking soda and a pinch of vanilla, then stir well until bubbles appear.
Pour the hot caramel over the popped popcorn and stir quickly to coat evenly (the caramel may not cover every kernel).
Preheat oven to 150°C (300°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Transfer the caramel-coated popcorn to the prepared baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
After baking, remove the baking sheet and let the popcorn cool completely on the sheet without stirring to prevent clumping.
