Instructions
In a bowl, mix soy sauce, pomegranate molasses, cornstarch, salt, and black pepper.
Add the beef strips and coat well.
Let marinate for about 15 minutes.
In a separate bowl, whisk together pomegranate molasses, dark soy sauce, cornstarch, water, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
Heat a pan over high heat.
Add olive oil and a small amount of sesame oil (optional).
Sear the beef strips and cook thoroughly until well browned and tender.
Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.
In the same pan, add sliced onion, green onion, mushrooms, and cashews.
Stir-fry briefly to absorb the beef flavor.
Return the beef to the pan.
Add minced garlic and stir quickly.
Pour in the prepared sauce.
Cook until the sauce thickens and coats the beef beautifully.
Garnish with sesame seeds and extra green onions.
Serve with rice, pasta, or enjoy on its own as a lighter option.
