A flavorful minced beef base prepared using high heat, gradual seasoning, and broth deglazing for rich depth—perfect for many everyday dishes, especially during Ramadan.

  1. Heat the pan over very high heat.
  2. Add oil then add the minced beef to the pan without adding anything else and let it take color.
  3. Keep broth nearby and add some whenever the meat starts sticking.
  4. Season with salt, black pepper, sugar, nutmeg, and mixed spices.
  5. Add chopped onions and carrot.
  6. Stir and let cook over low heat. (Up to to 2 hours)
  7. Add pomegranate molasses at the end to enhance the flavor.
  8. Store in the refrigerator for four days or in the freezer for four to six months.
