The Sugar Syrup

In a pot, mix sugar, water and lemon slice.

On heat, stir from the middle of the pot.

nce the sugar syrup starts boiling, stop stirring, lower to medium heat and let it boil of 10 minutes.

Let it chill.
The Dough

In a bowl, mix the sifted flour, powdered milk, sugar, baking powder, yeast and salt.

While stirring with a manual hand blender/blender pour the water gradually.

Cover it with plastic stretch and leave it to ferment in a dark and warm room from 45 minutes to an hour.

Stir the mixture.

Grease a flat pan with oil and preheat the pan then lower the heat.

Add small portions of the mixture to the pan and let them take the gold color. (Repeat till the quantity is done).

Stuff every piece with a small spoon of the prepared stuffing.

Fold the dough to close it well.

Other technique: Fold half of the piece to stuff it with chocolate/cream/cream chante after frying.

Fry the qatayef in oil on medium heat.

Directly add the fried qatayef to the sugar syrup then strain them.
