A comforting Egyptian-style rice cooked with green peas, spiced minced meat, and finished with caramelized onions and toasted nuts for a rich, aromatic flavor.

In a pot, heat 1 tablespoon of ghee.
Add the cooked minced meat and sauté briefly to warm it through.
Add the green peas and stir well.
Season with mixed spices and a pinch of cinnamon.
Add the rice and stir until no liquid remains at the bottom.
Pour in hot water (enough to cover the rice by 1 cm).
Season with salt and black pepper.
Once the rice absorbs most of the water, cover and reduce heat to very low.
Cook until fully tender.
Add butter or ghee at the end for extra aroma.
For Garnish:
Fry the sliced onion in oil until golden and crispy.
Toast the nuts until lightly golden.
Serve the rice topped with fried onions and nuts.
