Ragu Bolognese Sauce

In a pot, heat the oil, then add the onions & carrots. Stir till the onions and carrots get soft.

Now move the carrots and onions to one side of the pot, and add the minced meat.

Stir the minced meat till it gets a little brownish, then mix it with the onions and carrots.

Keep on stirring on high heat till all the liquids evaporate.

Now add the tomato juice, tomato paste, vinegar & enough Boiling water to covers the meat.

Start seasoning with salt, pepper, bay leaves & meat stock. Add a pinch of sugar.

Cover the pot and cook on low heat for at least 2 hours.

Note: It's better to cook it for up to 4 hours on kow heat to get the best results.

Note: Check on the sauce every 10 minutes and give it a stir. If the water gets evaporated, add some boiling water.

Serving suggestion: Add some milk or cream and add it cooked pasta.

Note: you can freeze it and use it for any recipe that needs a meat sauce.
