Orzo and Beef Casserole

In a pot, heat the ghee and sear the beef cubes. Season with salt and black pepper. Once browned, remove and set aside.

In the same pot, sauté the onion and garlic until fragrant.

Add the orzo to the pot and toast until golden brown.

Add the tomato sauce, tomato paste. Stir until combined.

Add boiling water and the bouillon cube if using. Simmer until the orzo absorbs most of the liquid and is tender.

Season with salt, pepper & paprika.

Return some of the beef to the pot. The other half put in a tajin/ casserole. Add the cooked orzo on top of the beef.

Add some water on top and bake in a preheated oven until the top is slightly crispy.
