Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Cut medium onion, potato and carrot into small cubes.
  2. In a pot, on medium heat, pan fry the veggies in ghee and oil for 5 minutes.
  3. Add the rinsed and strained yellow lentils.
  4. Add tomato paste, instant chicken broth and water.
  5. Leave them to boil with the pot not fully covered for 15 minutes.
  6. Use the hand blender to blend the soup.
  7. Season with salt, lemon or chili sauce(optional).
