Instructions
Boil the pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve some of the pasta water before draining.
In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic cloves and red chili flakes (if using) and sauté until fragrant.
Stir in the heavy cream and lemon juice then season with salt & pepper. Mix well and bring to a simmer.
Add a ladle of the reserved pasta water to thin out and emulsify the sauce. Stir until it reaches a creamy consistency.
Add lemon zest. Toss the cooked pasta into the sauce until evenly coated.
Sprinkle fresh or dried parsley on top and serve immediately. Enjoy your creamy, zesty lemon pasta!
