Instructions

  1. Marinade the beef with all marination spices and oil
  2. Grease pan with oil. Peel potato and cut/ remove the bottom part to create a base then cover with foil. Add wooden skewers then the beef (watch video for technique)
  3. Cook the beef in the oven for 30 minutes at 180 degrees
  4. Slice beef (just like they do at a shawerma restaurant). Add chopped tomatoes, parsley and sliced onions and stir.
  5. Prepare the sandwich: Chop pickled lemon into small pieces and mix with hummus. Spread hummus on the bread then add the shawerma and pickles and wrap.
