Homemade Fried Ice Cream

  1. Crush the cornflakes finely.
  2. Scoop the ice cream into large balls. Roll each ball in the crushed cornflakes to coat completely. Wrap each ball in plastic wrap and freeze until solid.
  3. In a bowl, whisk eggs with vanilla.
  4. Dip the frozen ice cream into the whisked eggs then into a bowl of crushed cornflakes (seasoned with cinnamon and sugar).
  5. Fry the coated ice cream balls for 30 seconds only, ensuring they are golden and crispy.
  6. Remove from oil, place on a paper towel to drain excess oil, and drizzle with chocolate sauce. Serve immediately for the perfect mix of hot and cold.
