Mix the flour with baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and ginger.
Beat the butter with molasses and sugar until well combined.
Add the egg and vanilla, and beat.
Gradually add the flour mixture and mix until a dough forms.
Place the dough in the refrigerator for half an hour to rest.
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Remove the dough, roll it out, and cut into desired shapes.
Bake the cookies for 8 minutes, then remove them.
