Preparing the Dough

In a bowl, add the flour, salt, yeast, sugar & baking powder.

Add the melted ghee and oil.

Add the warm milk gradually while kneading. The dough should be a bit sticky.

Cover the bowl and leave the dough till it Rises.
The Filling

Remove the seeds from inside the dates.

In a pan, add the pitted dates, some water and ghee. Mash the Dates till it forms a spread.
Preparing the Pies

After the dough rises, divide it into small balls & cover them for 2 minutes.

Prepare the baking sheet and line it with some ghee.

Take each dough ball, flatten it and fill it with the dates spread. Close and pat it. Use a knife to make 2 mark lines on top of each pie.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 15 minutes.

Take it out of the oven and sprinkle some water on top. Cover it with a towel for 5 minutes.
