Heat olive oil and butter in a pan over medium heat.

Add thinly sliced onions and stir occasionally. Lower the heat, cover, and let them caramelize for about 20 minutes, checking and stirring occasionally to prevent burning.

Once the onions turn golden and caramelized, add minced garlic and chili flakes, and stir.

If desired, add instant broth powder for extra flavor.

Pour in heavy cream and let it simmer for 5 minutes until it slightly thickens.

Add the boiled pasta to the sauce and stir to coat evenly.

Let the pasta cook in the sauce for about 10 minutes to absorb the flavors.

Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Sprinkle dried or fresh parsley for garnish.
