  6. Add a little more oil to the pan. Add the chopped onion and green pepper.
  7. Season with salt and black pepper and sauté until they soften slightly.
  8. Mince the garlic cloves and add them to the pan, stirring for a few seconds until the aroma is released.
  9. Return the cooked chicken and mushrooms to the pan with the vegetables. Stir all the ingredients together to combine the flavors. Serve hot.
