Description
Custard Fatira with Phyllo Dough is a traditional Egyptian dessert made of layers of phyllo dough filled with custard and sugar, baked until golden and crispy. Served cold with a sprinkle of powdered sugar.

Instructions
Prepare the custard powder, sugar, vanilla, and milk.
Mix the ingredients until you reach the desired consistency.
Set the mixture aside.
Grease a baking pan with butter.
Place the first layer of phyllo dough and soak it with milk and sugar.
Place a second layer of phyllo dough, soak it with milk and sugar, and let it absorb.
Add the custard mixture after it has reached a thick syrup consistency.
Place another layer of phyllo dough, soak it with milk, and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Bake at 180°C for half an hour, and in the last five minutes, turn on the top broiler to brown.
Cut as usual and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
