Instructions
Start by boiling the pasta.
In a pan, melt butter over medium heat.
Add sliced salami and sauté until lightly browned.
Add minced garlic and flour. Cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.
Crumble in a stock cube and pour in some of the pasta boiling water to create a sauce base.
Slowly pour in full-fat milk and half of the cooking cream.
Whisk to combine.
Grate in some cheese and stir to melt. Taste and adjust salt and pepper as needed.
The sauce should have a nice, slightly thick but not heavy consistency.
Add the cooked pasta to the sauce.
Stir to coat the pasta completely.
Let the pasta and sauce simmer together for about 10 minutes, allowing the pasta to absorb the flavours..
Finally, top the pasta with an additional layer of grated cheese.
