In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, mustard, finely chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

Grate garlic directly into the sauce. Stir again and set aside.

Slice onion very thinly. Place the onion slices in ice water and let them sit while you prepare other ingredients. This will make them crispier and milder.

Cut your chosen bread horizontally into two halves. Toast the bread in a pan until it gets a nice golden color and becomes slightly crispy. Remove and set aside.

In the same pan, add a little olive oil. Add a handful of cherry tomatoes with a pinch of salt and black pepper. Grill them until they soften slightly.

Spread a generous layer of the prepared sauce on the bottom half of the toasted bread.

Arrange a few slices of avocado. Mash them lightly with a fork to help them stay in place in the sandwich. Add a pinch of salt and black pepper over the avocado.

Place a few lettuce leaves on top.
