Instructions

Mix the yeast and sugar with the warm milk well.

Cover the yeast mixture and set it aside for 5 minutes.

Blend the warm water, oil, egg white and salt.

Add the yeast mixture and mix well.

Add flour and knead for 10 minutes.

Cover the dough and let it rest from 20 to 30 minutes.

Sprinkle flour to help in shaping the dough.

Shape the dough into oblong and divide it into 10 equal pieces.

Roll out each piece using some flour and rolling pin.

Add a mixture of butter and tahini and sprinkle some sugar on top of piece.

Add each 5 pieces on top of each other.

Cover them and let them rest in the fridge for 10 minutes.

Sprinkle some flour, add the dough layers, roll it out by hand then by the rolling pin.

Divide the dough into oblong pieces.

Flip each piece, roll it and close the edges tightly.

Cover the pate and let it rest for 15 minutes.

Mix egg yolk, icing sugar and vanilla, then brush the top of each piece with this mixture.

Optional step: Sprinkle sesame on top.

Bake them in a preheated oven from 15 to 20 minutes on 200 degrees Celsius to take a golden color from the bottom.

Turn on the grill to let them take a golden color from the top.
