Instructions
-
Mix minced beef with finely chopped onion, fresh mint, 7 spices, nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Combine well.
-
Shape the mixture into medium-sized balls and create a cavity in the center of each. Stuff with mozzarella cheese and seal the edges.
-
Lightly grease a baking dish with oil, place the stuffed kofta balls in it, and bake at 250°C for 30 minutes.
-
To prepare the yogurt sauce, mix Greek yogurt, rayeb milk, cornstarch, egg, and beef stock powder. Whisk the mixture well while cold, then cook over medium heat, stirring until thickened (around 10 minutes).
-
Place the baked kofta in a casserole dish, pour the yogurt sauce over them, and bake for 5 minutes in the oven to let the flavors meld.
-
In a separate pan, melt butter and sauté crushed garlic until fragrant. Add fresh coriander and stir for a minute.
-
Pour the garlic-coriander mixture over the kofta and garnish with almonds if desired. Serve hot with rice or bread.
