Rice with Shrimps

Instructions

  1. Marinade the shrimps
  2. In a wok, add butter and cook shrimps for about 3 minutes on each side then remove from the wok
  3. Chop carrots and onions into small cubes
  4. In the same wok, add butter then the onion, carrots and peas (take 1 spoon of this mix and set aside for later)
  5. Add the spices then the tomato paste and mix well
  6. Add 1/2 cup of water, mix well then add the bay leaves
  7. Add 3 cups rice and 4 cups water
  8. When it boils, lower the heat and cover the wok until fully cooked
  9. Add the shrimps on top, sprinkle green onions or parsley and the vegetable mix spoon we set aside
