In a bowl, beat the eggs, yogurt, softened butter, and oil until smooth using a hand whisk.

Gradually sift in the vanilla cake mix, then add ground cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and mix until just combined.

Fold in grated carrots and crushed pecans (if using).

Preheat the oven to 180°C .

Grease a cake pan and pour in the batter.

Bake for 25 minutes. Turn off the oven and leave the cake inside for another 5 minutes.

In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese and softened butter until smooth.

Add powdered sugar and a pinch of salt. Beat until fluffy and well combined.

Allow the cake to cool completely before spreading the frosting on top.

Optionally, sprinkle with more pecans or grated carrots for decoration.
