Pasta with Butter & Garlic Sauce

Boil the pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving ½ cup of pasta water.

Melt the butter in a large pan over medium heat.

Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, but not browned.

Stir in the chili flakes and mix well.

Add the cooked pasta to the pan, tossing to coat in the butter and garlic mixture.

Squeeze in the lemon juice and stir. If needed, add a splash of reserved pasta water to loosen the sauce.

Serve the pasta hot, garnished with parsley and additional chili flakes if desired.
