Coat the roast generously with butter until it is completely covered.
In a separate bowl, mix the salt, black pepper, smoked or regular paprika, garlic powder, and seven spices.
Roll the butter-coated roast in this spice mixture, ensuring it is well coated on all sides. You can also add some coarse salt if preferred.
Place the seasoned roast directly into an oven bag.
Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C to 200°C for approximately 1.5 hours. Adjust cooking time by ten minutes less or more depending on your oven.
Remove the roast from the oven.
Let the roast cool completely and chill it overnight before slicing. This helps maintain its tenderness and makes slicing easier. (Recommended)
