  1. In a blender, combine eggs, vanilla, sugar, butter, and oil until thoroughly blended.
  2. Grate the orange zest and add it to the blender mixture.
  3. Sift the flour and baking powder together, then add the blended wet ingredients and fresh orange juice to the flour mixture.
  4. Mix until well combined into a smooth batter.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased baking pan and bake at 190°C for approximately 40 minutes.

Glaze

  1. Add sugar, freshly squeezed orange juice, lemon juice, and bay leaves in a saucepan.
  2. Once the cake is baked, remove it from the baking pan and pour the glaze sauce over it while still warm.
