Nashville Hot Chicken

  1. Slice chicken breasts into strips
  2. Season the sliced chicken with salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder and paprika. Add buttermilk (rayeb). Leave it in the marination for at least 2 hours.
  3. In a bowl, add flour then season with salt, paprika, chili powder and garlic powder. Stir well.
  4. In a bowl, add eggs, salt, pepper then add flour and gradually add water. Whisk well.
  5. Dip the marinated chicken in the flour then the wet mixture then again in the flour.
  6. Deep fry the chicken in hot oil for about 10 minutes or until golden.
  7. In a bowl, add paprika, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper & hot sauce or sirarcha. Add some of the oil used to fry the chicken and mix well.
  8. Brush or dip the mixture in the chicken and add honey.
  9. Prepare the sandwich and enjoy.
