Instructions

Preheat your airfryer, meanwhile mix bread with olive oil, sumac & salt then toast in airfryer until golden.

In a pan on low heat add olive oil and pinenuts & fry until golden.

Strain the pinenuts and take the olive oil back into the pan & add the onions, salt, black pepper & cinnamon.

Mix everything, cover & let it cook down for 15-20mins.

Then add the chicken, mix well, cover & let it simmer for 10mins.

Turn off heat then add the lemon, sumac, pinenuts & mix all well.

In a pot on high heat add oil & whole spices & let it fry for a few seconds

Add rice & salt, mix well then add water/ stock

llow the rice to come to a boil & absorb 70% of the liquid then cover and place on low heat for 20mins until fully cooked.

Mix together yoghurt with tahini, garlic, lemon & salt.

To assemble, add the crispy bread in the bottom then top with yoghurt sauce then the rice & more yoghurt sauce then the msakhan and decorate with a drizzle of yoghurt, parsley, pomegranate seeds and a dash of sumac & enjoy♥️
