Instructions

  1. Boil milk and butter to melt together, then set aside.
  2. Add eggs to the electric mixer then add vanilla and lemon zest and mix them well.
  3. Add sugar gradually.
  4. In a bowl, sift flour along with baking powder and a pinch of salt.
  5. Add some of the flour mixture to the electric mixer then some of buttermilk (rayeb) and repeat the process.
  6. Finally add the melted milk and butter.
  7. In the baking pan add parchment paper then add the mixture.
  8. Bake in a preheated oven.
  9. In a bowl, add lemon juice to the Powder sugar and whipping cream.
  10. Add the glaze to the cake (don't add while hot) then add some pistachios on top and enjoy.
