Instructions

  1. Using a mixer, whisk eggs with sugar and vanilla.
  2. Add oil and whisk again.
  3. In a bowl, sift flour then add baking powder.
  4. Add the dry ingredients in the bowl to the egg mix/ wet ingredients. Whisk again.
  5. Add milk, lemon juice and lemon zest.
  6. Transfer the batter to the cake mold.
  7. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees celsius.
  8. In a bowl, mix creamy labneh with condensed milk and lemon juice.
  9. In another bowl, mix hot water with sugar and lemon juice.
  10. When cake is ready, while it's still hot, make some openings in it using a knife.
  11. When it cools down, drizzle the hot water mixture on it.
  12. Add the topping on top, sprinkle some pistachios on top and enjoy.
