Instructions

Melt butter in a pan over medium heat.

Sauté the onion and mushrooms until soft and fragrant.

Add the cooking cream, season with salt and pepper, and simmer for a few minutes. Set aside.

In a bowl, combine minced chicken, grated onion, parsley, breadcrumbs, chicken spices, salt, and pepper.

Mix well until all ingredients are incorporated.

Shape the mixture into medium-sized balls, flattening slightly in the center.

Boil the potatoes until soft, then mash until smooth.

Add the egg yolks, milk, Parmesan cheese (if using), salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Mix well.

Transfer the mashed potatoes to a piping bag fitted with a star nozzle.

In a greased baking dish, spread the creamy mushroom sauce evenly at the bottom.

Arrange the chicken kofta on top of the sauce.

Pipe mashed potatoes in decorative swirls over the kofta.

Preheat the oven to 190°C.

Bake the dish for 30 minutes or until the kofta is cooked and the mashed potatoes are golden brown.
