Marinated ground meat is seasoned with aromatic spices like coriander, then shaped into kebabs and grilled to juicy perfection. Mint Sauce

Instructions

  1. In the chopper, add the bell pepper, onion and garlic. Blend well and strain the mixture from water, then add to the minced meat.
  2. In another bowl put the sumac, salt, pepper and the dried mint. Mix together then add to the meat.
  3. Mix all ingredients together and let sit in the refrigerator for an hour.
  4. Place the meat on the skewer and use your hands to firmly press the kofta onto the skewer into a long, oval and flat shape. You can also use your fingers to form crimps.
  5. Lightly oil the grill pan and on medium-high heat, grill the kofta until the first side is cooked (about 4-5 minutes), then turn over and continue cooking the other side. Serve with bread, pickled onions and mint sauce.

Mint Sauce

  1. In the chopper, add mint, coriander, ginger, garlic and greek yogurt and blend till completely mixed. Pour into a serving bowl.
