  1. Heat milk and sugar in a saucepan until warm.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix eggs, lemon zest, vanilla extract, semolina, starch, and a bit of warmed milk while stirring continuously.
  3. Gradually add milk and mix the ingredients together, one by one, to avoid using hot milk.
  4. Let it boil until thickened while preparing the baking pan with a bit of butter and semolina flour on the side.
  5. Once thickened, stir in a tablespoon of butter.
  6. Pour the thick mixture into the baking pan and bake at 180°C.
  7. Top it with butter only or butter mixed with egg, and a sprinkle of sugar on the surface.
  8. See how it turns out after about 40 minutes.
  9. Serve warm with cinnamon, honey, coarse sugar, or powdered sugar.
