Fries with Cheese & Gravy – Poutine

  1. Fry potatoes and add spices (I used knorr stock powder)
  2. Gravy: In a pan, melt the butter then add flour and mix. Add water gradually while stirring, stock, then make it thick by adding cornstarch dissolved in water . Let it boil for 3 minutes then set aside
  3. Prepare the cheese, in Canada they use cheese curd but you can replace it with halloumi cheese or mix mozzarella & cheddar
  4. Add the cheese to the fries then add the gravy - Then put in the oven until cheese melts
