Beat 3 egg whites, add 1/4 cup sugar, beat and set aside.

Mix 1/2 cup milk, 1 egg yolk, 2 tbsp melted butter and 1/2 tsp vanilla.

Add 2/3 cup flour, 2 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp salt.

Fold egg whites into pancake batter gradually.

Cook each side for 3 minutes on very low heat (pan covered).
