Instructions
Mix the dry ingredients: flour, baking soda, and salt.
In another bowl, beat the softened butter with brown sugar and white sugar until creamy.
Add eggs and vanilla, beat again.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until just combined.
Add chocolate chips and mix. Cover the dough and refrigerate for a full day.
The next day, preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
Remove the dough from the refrigerator and let it warm slightly.
Shape equal-sized balls of dough and place on a baking sheet.
Bake fresh dough for 13-15 minutes, or frozen dough for 18-20 minutes. Let the cookies cool for 15-20 minutes before serving.
