Beef with Caramelized Onion

Instructions

  1. In a hot pan, add olive oil and sear beef on both sides, season with salt & pepper then set aside
  2. In the same pan, add butter and the sliced onion. Season with beef spices and salt. Dissolve sugar in water and add to the onion gradually.
  3. When onion is golden, add the beef back. Add boiling water and let it cook on low heat for 1 hour (could take longer depending on the meat cut)
