Spicy Garlic Drumsticks

Ingredients

Brine

Seasoned Flour

Wet Batter

Garlic Chili Sauce

Instructions

  1. Bring Brine mixture to a boil
  2. Allow to cool completely
  3. Add the chicken
  4. Refrigerate for a few hours (minimum 1 hour)
  5. Remove the chicken from the brine
  6. Pat dry
  7. Add to the seasoned flour - shake of excess flour then wet batter then back to the seasoned flour
  8. Fry at medium temp until cooked through
  9. Then fry again at high temp to give it a nice color and crust
  10. Make the sauce by adding all ingredients on medium heat, careful not to burn the garlic (This shouldn’t take more than 2 min or so)
  11. Once done, remove from heat and blend to smooth out the sauce then add to the fried chicken

Chef Note

I served them with coleslaw
And green onions for garnish
