Instructions
-
Combine the cooked ground beef with tomato paste and strained tomato juice (puree). Add desired salt and spices, and mix well.
-
Add water to make the sauce liquid, and let it simmer on low heat for 15 minutes.
-
After 15 minutes, when the color has become very rich, add the desired amount of hot pepper sauce and stir well. Remove the sauce from the heat.
-
In a pan, melt the butter. Add the flour and stir it into the butter.
-
Gradually add the milk while stirring continuously.
-
Once the sauce reaches a slightly thinner consistency than desired for béchamel, add salt, black pepper, and bouillon cube. Stir well and remove from heat.
-
Lightly coat the bottom of a baking dish with olive oil and a small amount of beef sauce to prevent the pasta from sticking.
-
Place the first layer of raw lasagna sheets. Spread a layer of ricotta cheese, followed by some mozzarella cheese and a portion of the beef sauce.
-
Repeat the layering process. On the final pasta layer, place ricotta, then cover with the remaining beef sauce, and top with béchamel.
-
Finish with a layer of mozzarella cheese for color.
-
Cover the dish with foil. Place it in a preheated oven at 200°C.
-
After about 45 minutes, once the pasta is cooked, remove the foil. Turn on the broiler and bake until the top is golden brown.
-
Remove the lasagna from the oven when the top is browned. Serve it hot.
