Description

A delightful and easy-to-make Mango Mousse recipe, layered with vanilla pound cake and topped with a vibrant mango jelly for a refreshing dessert.

  1. Note: If you use ready-made mango puree, you will need 1 Kg or 4 Cups. If you use fresh mangoes, the mangoes are peeled and cut, and all the flesh is extracted. It is then blended in a food processor until it becomes a smooth puree. A total of 4 Cups of Mango Puree will be needed.
  2. The Pound Cake is sliced and arranged in a serving dish, then set aside.
  3. In a small bowl, add the Gelatin and 1/4 Cup of Water, mix well. Let it thicken.
  4. Once it sets, microwave it for 20 seconds until it dissolves and becomes liquid. Set aside to cool down slightly.
  5. In a blender, add 2 Cups of Mango Puree, Sugar, Cheese, Thick Cream (Qeshta), Whipped Cream Powder, and the dissolved Gelatin. Blend everything together until well combined and the mixture thickens to a creamy consistency.
  6. Pour the Mousse over the Cake in the serving dish, cover it, and refrigerate for at least two hours or until it sets.
  7. In a bowl, add the Boiling Water and the Jelly Packets, then mix very well until completely dissolved.
  8. After that, add the remaining 2 Cups of Mango Puree and mix until everything is combined and thickened.
  9. Pour this mixture over the chilled Mousse, cover it, and refrigerate again for at least 2-3 hours or until completely set.
  10. You can serve it plain or garnish it with fresh Mango Pieces.
