Instructions
-
Heat ghee in a pan and lightly sauté the pre-cooked beef cubes. Season with salt and black pepper.
-
Add cooked or raw rice to the pan and stir gently to combine with the beef, allowing it to absorb the flavors. Add milk.
-
In a separate pan, melt some ghee and add the flour. Cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring continuously. Gradually add the milk while whisking to avoid lumps.
-
Add salt, black pepper, and the bouillon cube. Stir until the mixture thickens slightly. Mix in the yogurt and cream.
-
Grease an oven-safe dish with ghee. Add half the rice mixture, then pour some of the sauce over it.
-
Add the remaining rice on top, then add some ghee on top then drizzle the rest of the sauce evenly over the surface.
-
Dot the top with extra cream for a golden finish.
-
Bake the casserole for 10-15 minutes. For raw rice, bake for 30-40 minutes, adding more milk if needed.
-
Finish under the broiler until the top is golden and creamy.
