Instructions

Prepare Vegetables: Mix chopped tomatoes, onions, salt, black pepper, and olive oil. Set aside.

Season the Meat: Combine ground meat with salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, chopped bell pepper, and minced onion. Mix well.

Form the Kofta: Shape the meat mixture into small balls and place them on a baking tray. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 15-20 minutes or until slightly browned.

Prepare the Tahini Sauce: In a bowl, whisk tahini with salt, black pepper, paprika, minced garlic, vinegar, and optional yogurt. Gradually add water until a smooth sauce forms.

In a baking dish, arrange the onions and tomatoes then add the kofta and bake. Take it of the oven, pour in the tahini sauce.

Bake Again: Bake for another 10 minutes at the same temperature or until the tahini thickens slightly and absorbs into the kofta.

Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle with parsley and pine nuts before serving. Serve hot with bread or rice.
