  1. Heat oil in a pot and add mastic, cardamom, bay leaves, cloves, dried lemon, cinnamon stick, carrots, onion, tomatoes, and celery sticks. Stir.
  2. Add kwara and water. Cook under pressure for about 1 to 1.5 hours, or 3 hours in a regular pot.
  3. To make Egyptian rice, heat oil and butter. Add mastic and bay leaf. Stir in rice. Add black pepper and salt. Stir until rice is coated.
  4. Add hot water to cover the rice. Cover and cook until water is absorbed.
  5. For the sauce, heat oil and butter. Add chopped garlic and red pepper flakes. Stir in tomato sauce or diced and peeled tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper. Simmer for 15 minutes.
  6. Add Salt to Kwara and stir.
  7. In a hot pan, add prepared tomato sauce and boneless kwara and stir.
  8. In a serving plate, add Egyptian roasted bread then kwara soup then rice and cover it with tomato sauce then add kwara and tomato mix.
