  1. In a hot pot, add oil and butter, fry the meat on high heat. Flip the meat cubes several times until evenly browned on all sides. Add the spices and stir.
  2. Remove the meat from the pot or set aside, add the onions and saute until browned. Stir all together. Add hot water, whenever needed but not all at once.
  3. Transfer the meat to the tagine when fully cooked, add salt. Add the air-fried potato cubes. Mix together. Place in the preheated oven with the broiler on until they cook together and a thick sauce is formed. Serve with white rice.
