  1. In a deep bowl, put the eggs, vanilla and sugar and mix them with an electric mixer until the texture becomes fluffy and the color lightens. Add the oil and mix again.
  2. In a pot on the stove-top, put the milk and butter on heat until completely dissolved. Set it aside for 5 minutes until it cools slightly.
  3. In another bowl, mix the sifted flour with salt and baking powder.
  4. Gradually add some flour and some of the warm butter-milk mixture and mix with the eggs until combined. Repeat until all the flour and milk is mixed.
  5. Stir the mixture with a spatula to ensure that there are no lumps. The consistency of the mixture should not be thick.
  6. Grease an oven tray with butter, pour the cake mixture over it, and tap the tray to make sure there are no air bubbles.
  7. In a preheated oven at 170 degrees, bake for 35 minutes.
