The Dough

Instructions

In a bowl, add yoghurt, oil, water, egg whites, yeast & sugar. Mix well and set aside.

Add the flour gradually and mix well. Add the salt.

Knead well for 10 minutes until soft.

Cover and let it rest in room temperature for 45 minutes.

Cut into small balls.

Slightly spread the dough balls using hand then stuff with chocolate and/or cheese. Close well. (You can stuff with dates or chocolate chips or leave empty)

Line an oven tray with parchment paper. Put the stuffed dough balls. Cover with towel and let it rest.

Brush egg yolk on the dough balls.

Use a fork to make shapes on the dough balls.

Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees celsius for 18-20 minutes until the bottom is golden. Then turn off the oven and turn on the broiler until the top is also golden.

Cover with a towel before consuming.
